The Sacred Flame

Behind the radiant image with which the Dawnlands bathe their lands, there are those who must meander in the shadows to realize that idyllic reality: A world without the magic that corrupts the heart of humanity. Those who practice it must be eliminated along with the creatures of the night, for there is no place for them in the world they seek to create.

That is where the Sacred Flame comes into play, a brutal group of Witch Hunters that extends beyond the Dawnlands, beyond where the boundaries of the map are blurred. All it takes for one of their relentless hunters to get going is a simple rumor, a terse whisper promising unholy magic for it to be investigated.

In their ranks there are all kinds of people: alchemists, trackers and others, but what makes them special is the use of a new invention: gunpowder. With silver, gunpowder and a lack of scruples, the Holy Flame hunters are responsible for countless executions: Stakes, bonfires, ropes, guided by the motto "In the shadows, we watch".

Some say that many innocent people have fallen at their hands, and the reality is that... For the Order, it is much better to be safe than sorry.
